Karlis Vitols performs live at (out of) Erica Synths Garage using pc laptop as a mic fx processor, Shure Green Bullet, granular piano, LXR DIY drum machine & DIY modular synth with Erica Synths DIY included.

Karlis Vitols, whose musical explorations started with a punk-rock band back when he was fifteen, has just recently left the field of Blues. After he stopped playing Harmonica or Mississippi Saxophone in a band Čehols, a certain interest in electronic music appeared. Artist himself explains that the natural landscapes are the biggest impulse for a creative work with modular synthesisers; the charm is said to hide in the static and the abstract nature of electronic music.
